What you'll do:

* Successfully contribute and lead all aspects of vegetation management planning and analysis.
* Overseeing the entire project portfolio from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, managing change orders, and addressing other work-related issues
* Evaluate project proposals and bids, making necessary modifications to contracts
* Ensure the quality of the scope of work and contract deliverables
* Collaborate with the project management team and other organizations to communicate project status, budget updates, planning, and deliverables
* Supervise day-to-day operations within the project scope, adhering to milestones and gate reviews
* Keep all project documents current, completed, and stored appropriately in a digital platform
* Effectively manage the project budget, providing forecasts as needed for timely and accurate milestone completion
* Monitor project costs, address variances, and implement corrective measures to stay within budget parameters
* Conduct timely quality checks on all invoicing to identify discrepancies.

What you'll need:
  • * 3-5 years of utility right of way vegetation management experience.
    * Previous project supervision experience.
    * Desire to adapt to and participate in the development of an emerging UVM program.
    * Demonstrated expertise in problem solving, meeting deadlines, and technical innovation.
    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    * Locally situated in Maryland or Delaware.
    * Valid Driver's License with clean DMV driving record and ability to drive and operate a 4x4 vehicle.
    * Ability to identify local tree species & growth rates.
    * Organizational skills; working knowledge of computers and programs, file creation, manipulation, and sharing.
    * Preferred: Two or Four-year degree in Forestry, Urban Forestry, Horticulture or related discipline.
    * Preferred: Relevant pesticide and/or Herbicide licenses and certificates, if required by state law.
    * Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Utility Specialist, Registered Professional Forester (RPF), Utility Right-of-Way Vegetation experience.
