The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Growth to work with Bhance's Director of Product and Design to help drive a customer-centric vision to help creators get paid. We are starting with developments in Adobe's freelance hiring marketplace (be.net/hire) which enables anyone to easily find, connect with, and hire world-class creators. This position will focus on bringing our current freelance hiring offering to market across self-service use cases and eventually to SMB and enterprise hirers, and on launching and scaling a subscription service centered around tools to help our creator community increase and manage their earning opportunities.

As the Director of Growth you will ultimately be responsible for the growth and success of the business. You will be responsible for collaborating with product managers and key business stakeholders to ensure the product is meeting key market needs, create new Go-To-Market pathways, drive strategy and execution for growth (through PLG motions, partnerships, sales, etc.), and ultimately create top of funnel demand that generates business impact highly visible and engaging ways. You will be responsible for measuring growth success and making data-driven decisions to drive and hit overall business metrics and inform future iterations that may generate increased impact.

What you'll Do

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer problems that enterprises and SMBs face in hiring freelance designers to advocate for key needs and messages that will resonate with our target personas for Go-To-Market
  • Advocate for a product roadmap, marketing, content, partnerships, and other requirements for a successful go-to-market for Behance's Freelance Hiring Marketplace, which balances and prioritizes the needs of both freelancers and employers, as well as B2B value adds
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing plans that effectively reach and engage target audiences, ensuring alignment with and utilization of with Adobe's broader brand and marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Build a compelling vision to communicate through thought leadership, customer-facing research, customer success stories, and content to support marketing campaigns and other teams telling the story of Adobe's commitment to helping creators earn income
  • Lead efforts to optimize Adobe users and Behance members with essential freelance skills and knowledge through learning and educational programs, enabling them to succeed as freelancers.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to find opportunities for product improvements and enhancements that will drive user engagement and income generation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Adobe to realize this vision by working hand-in-hand with teams including legal, sales, brand, field and campaign marketing,
  • Build mutually beneficial partnerships with internal teams like Learn, Higher Education, and Direct-to-Student teams, and CSR/Adobe Foundation to build partnerships and programs that align with employability and job skills initiatives
  • Analyze the social competitive space to assist the team in understanding how other brands are approaching social marketing and find opportunities to evolve our strategy
  • Make data-driven decisions to optimize GTM performance and continuously evaluate and refine the customer personas, ensuring that marketing efforts optimally target and resonate with the intended audience.
  • Work with early adopters and power users to find opportunities for quick iterations and continuous improvements in how we meet their needs and resonate with them authentically

What you need to succeed
  • A deep understanding of performance marketing, content strategy and analytics. A data driven strategist who has a track record of driving growth marketing programs informed by analytics and results.
  • Strong understanding of creative development and digital technologies both established and emerging
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, and the ability to influence and steer projects in a matrixed multi-national organisation
  • Demonstrate technical SEO thought leadership in the company and help educate product, design and development teams on current industry trends and content methodologies
  • Shown expertise in market research and analysis, enabling data-driven decision-making and the identification of strategic opportunities for product improvement and growth.
  • Experience in building and cultivating strong internal and external partnerships, collaborating with diverse teams and collaborators to achieve common goals.
  • Strong budget management and resource allocation skills, ensuring efficient use of resources to enhance the impact of marketing efforts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and strategies in a clear and compelling manner to both internal and external audiences.
  • Experience in creating and implementing go-to-market plans for new product features and enhancements, with a keen understanding of the product development lifecycle.
  • A passion for Adobe's mission and values, with a commitment to fostering a sense of community, inclusivity, and support within the Adobe Community and Behance platforms.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $161,700 -- $297,500 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
