Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS, Windows and Linux instances, and Kubernetes to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining deployment pipelines for our cloud-based software products. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure while driving automation and efficiency improvements.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar technologies to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
  • Deployment Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications and services using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline. Ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes with minimal downtime.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Implement and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes for both development and production environments. Optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Set up monitoring and alerting solutions such as Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, or similar tools to proactively monitor system health, performance metrics, and security incidents. Implement automated responses to alerts when necessary.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with development teams, architects, and other stakeholders to understand deployment requirements and provide guidance on best practices. Maintain comprehensive documentation for deployment processes, configurations, and infrastructure diagrams.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to deployment pipelines, infrastructure, and application deployments. Implement effective solutions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure and deployments.
  • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and Lambda.
  • Experience managing Windows and Linux-based environments, including configuration management, security hardening, and performance tuning.
  • Experience containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Scripting and automation using languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell experience.
  • Experience with networking concepts, security principles, and best practices for cloud-based architectures.
  • Experience communicating and collaborating in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Git-based version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab).
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
