Job Description

The Data Analyst III provides relevant and current data as well as trending data and analysis to the Network Operations teams and key stake holders within Vonage in a professional and consistent manner. The Data Analyst III has an in-depth knowledge of VoIP/telecom environments and can apply that to identifying issues and trends within our infrastructure.

Essential Job Functions:
-Analyze and trend statistical data
-Import/export, manipulate and interpret data
-Generate executive level reports in quick time frames and consistent time lines
-Help the Vonage team continually improve and provide better reporting to key stake holders and regulatory bodies
-Generate reports that the company would need with or without direction

Specific Requirements:
-Strong communications skills that effectively build relationships with stake holders, delegates and cross functional teams within Vonage
-Self starter with expert knowledge in report tools and report presentation in corporate and telecom/VoIP environments
-Ability to work alone and work in a multifunctional and fast environment
-Must know how to analyze and trend statistical data
-Must know how to import / export, manipulate data, interpret data
-Be able to generate executive level reports in quick time frames as well as consistent time lines
-Must be able to help the Vonage team continually improve and provide better reporting to key stake holders and to regulatory bodies
-Must be able to work alone and generate reports that the company would need with or with out direction

Additional Skills (would like to have but not required)
-Experience with MicroStrategy
-Strong SQL skills with experience in Terradata and Ab Initio
