Overview:

PPR, a CoStar Company, is curently seeking a Market Advisor.

Become the most sought after local real estate advisor by leveraging a deep understanding and analysis of local multifamily and commercial real estate market conditions and forecasts to: 1) capture local and regional demand for market information and consulting services; 2) enhance our ability to assist client decision making; and, 3) improve local and national forecast accuracy.



Responsibilities:
  1. Market Research and Analysis
    • Significantly deepen knowledge and understanding of local market conditions through on-the-ground research and active dialogue with local customers, investors, and other industry participants.
    • Through the synthesis of data and market events, effectively communicate our outlook on the market to clients, industry participants, and prospects through written analysis, verbal presentations, and webinars. Commentary should be clear, concise, insightful, and provide meaningful and actionable analysis for clients at the market, submarket, and micromarket level.
    • Ensure market information is fed back to the firm and is: 1) part of the overall institutional knowledge and 2) fully reflected in the forecast.
  2. Leverage and Grow Local Network
    • As a respected participant in local industry circles with an established and broadly acknowledged reputation as a key contributor in the local real estate market, cultivate, nourish, and maintain a deep network of local contacts and experts to help inform and expand market knowledge.
    • Regularly participate in local industry events, seeking to be the keynote speaker and most sought after local market expert.
  3. Develop and Manage Local Consulting Practice
    • Become the local market’s most trusted voice and sought after opinion to build local consulting business.
    • Accompany sales team on calls to assist in the closing of new business.
  4. Manage Local Book of Business
    • Service local and regional customers, calling on each local client regularly to maximize value delivery and assist as needed.
    • Actively seek consulting engagements from new and existing customers.


Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Dynamic professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  2. Natural ability to analyze data and synthesize it with market events to foster engaged communication
  3. Intellectual curiosity and ability to pursue novel paths to achieve results
  4. Effective networker
  5. Strong work ethic/self-starter but able to work in team environment
  6. Ability to meet deadlines
  7. Places high value on customer service
  8. 10-15 years of commercial real estate investment experience
  9. BA Degree in Economics, Real Estate, Finance, or related field; Masters or CFA preferred.
